Deputy at Iran's Islamic center condoles with demise of Sheikh Qabalan
Deputy of Iran affairs at World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has issued a message on Tuesday to express condolence over demise of senior Lebanese scholar Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan.

Mohsen Meschi from Iran's Islamic unity center has issued a message addressing Sheikh Ahmad Qabalan to extend sympathies over the recent demise of Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan, head of the Lebanon's Supreme Shia Council hailing him for spending his life for promotion of Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Iranian cultural figure praised late Lebanese cleric for spending his life serving the honorable Lebanese nation from different denominations.
He noted interaction based on ethical approaches, special care for rationality, moderation and avoiding prejudice and endeavors to promote proximity among different denominations have made a qualified role model for solidarity of all nations and followers of different religions and Islamic denominations.
"Obeying the original thoughts of prominent Lebanese Shia leader Imam Mousa Sadr as the late leader is missed and making vast contribution for religious, social and educational objectives are among the best heritages left by the recently demised scholar" said Mohsen Meschi.
He expressed sympathies with the bereaved family of the late scholar, Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan.
Head of Lebanon's Supreme Shia Council, Abdul Amir Qabalan passed away at the age of 85 due to illness.
