Alireza Moghaddasi, Director-General of Iran's Customs, announced a 75 percent increase in transit goods from Iran.

Moghaddasi added: "One of the government's main policies is to develop trade with neighbors and facilitate the transit of foreign trade through Iran."
The director-general of Iran's customs also added: "Transit has increased again this year and is expected to reach 12 million and 400 thousand tons by the end of the year."
Moghaddasi stressed: “Iran as a corridor between south-north and east-west and establishing a corridor between Iran, Pakistan, and Turkey ITI can increase the country's transit.
