A major activity especially held during the fasting month of Ramadan, the holy shrine of eight Shia Imam in Mashhad is hosting an exhibition addressing both children and adults with the main focus on the younger Muslims.
Part of the exhibition addresses the minors between 8-12 years of age, who take part in workshops and play games as an amusement and a learning strategy for the younger generation.
The games are designed to familiarize the kids with Qur'an recitation rules and memorization methods as well as daily prayers and ablution.
There is a special section on Imam Reza (AS) that comprises kinetic activities aimed at demonstrating prayers and Holy Quran through Imam’s life and conduct.
‘Worshipping Ceremony’ is another section of the event where Islamic teachings are given through ‘Tunnel of Light’, a maze and also certain booths to familiarize the kids with the heroic figures like Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani.
The Holy Quran exhibition is currently underway between Bab al-Reza and Bab al-Javad gates in the holy shrine and will be ongoing between 6pm and 12am every night until April 19.
