Iran, Qatar stress expansion of ties

The Iranian president underlined Iran's desire to improve the level of relations and expand cooperation with Qatar, and the emir of Qatar welcomed this issue and announced his country's readiness to increase investment in Iran.

 Thanking the Emir and the Prime Minister of Qatar for their efforts in advancing joint programs and agreements with the Islamic Republic of Iran, the President added: The Islamic Republic of Iran has always emphasized on improving the level of relations and expanding cooperation with Qatar, and the considers development of bilateral interactions will strengthen regional and international cooperation as much as possible.
 
Sheikh "Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani", the Emir of Qatar, expressed his most sincere congratulations to the President and the people of Iran on the occasion of the coming of Eid al-Adha, and announced his country's readiness to increase economic cooperation and investment in Iran and stated: Considering the good discussions and consultations that have been done in the development of relations, we are ready to hold a joint commission for economic cooperation in the near future.
