The Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has unveiled the poster for the International Quds Day ahead of the occasion to be marked on the last Friday of Ramadan.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, together with the deputy of the Islamic Unity Center, Sayyed Mousa Mousavi, unveiled the poster for the Quds Day entitled “We are Committed to Our Pledge, O Quds”, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The poster depicts al-Aqsa Mosque as a symbol of the holy city and the flag of the Islamic countries around the dome of the mosque.
The ceremony for unveiling the poster was held ahead of the International Quds Day which is annually held on the last Friday of the fasting month of Ramadan.
Muslims and pro-Palestine activists around the world commemorate the day in massive rallies to voice support for the Palestinians suffering Israeli atrocities for more than seven decades.
This year the ceremony coincides with the renewed Israeli atrocities across the besieged Gaza Strip.
Israeli regime has killed more than 50,000 Palestinian civilians in Gaza since the regime launched genocidal attack on Gaza in October 2023.
