Clerics stress Ahlul Bayt (AS) axes of Islamic unity

Senior Iranian cleric met with head of Iraq’s National Wisdom Movement to stress importance of boosting solidarity among all Islamic denominations as setting Ahlul Bayt (AS), household of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) as the axes of this unity.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, in his meeting with Sayyed Ammar Hakim hailed the cooperation of the two neighboring countries in holding the great march of Arba’een, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The clerics also discussed the issues challenging the Islamic countries naming cultural invasion by non-Muslim countries, necessity of protecting the younger generation against such attacks and also issues caused by narcotics in the Islamic countries.
 
Senior scholars also highlighted importance of coordination among social and religious icons in the Islamic countries and also necessity of maintaining dialogue among different parties in the region.
 
Both sides reiterated the important role of Iraq in maintaining peace and security in the region.
