MoC inked between the WFPIST, International Islamic Fiqh Academy

At the beginning of this meeting, Moustapha Sano stated that in prophetic wisdom, Muslims are like a single body, and if one member is hurt, the other members also feel discomfort, noting: The single body is the Islamic Ummah and the members of this body are countries and nations.

He further stressed: If a country or land is suffering from oppression, poverty, disease, other members of this body will also feel discomfort.

In another part of his remarks, he stated that Ayatollah Taskhiri founded the International Islamic Fiqh Academy 42 years ago and called him a unique personality in the Islamic world.

Sano while expressing his satisfaction with the signing of this memorandum, expressed his hope that through this the relations of this Academy with the Islamic Republic of Iran in general and the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in particular will expand.

Shahriari, the Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, also stated regarding the signing of this memorandum: For the first time, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought and the International Islamic Fiqh Academy of Jeddah.

The senior cleric noted that the Association for the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought will be present in these meetings more prominently than in the past.
