In his speech addressed to the participant to the 37th Islamic Unity Conference, Amir-Abdollahian stressed Iran welcomes the new page in its relations with other countries though the benefits of Palestine and rejection of the illegal Israeli regime should be put first, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The meeting of Iranian Foreign Minister with the participants to the 37th Islamic Unity Conference was held at Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tehran on Monday night.
Amir-Abdollahian said,” Based on scientific studies, the world order is subject to developments. In this new order, the US who struggled to safeguard its unilateralism as a global superpower, is still maintaining its hegemonic traits though it is incapable of carrying them out.”
According to the Iranian Foreign Minister an instance of the US incapability to promote its hegemony is assassination of Iran’s IRGC counter-terror commander Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani.
He referred to the endeavors by envoys from the then US president Donald Trump to dissuade Iran from a retaliatory move to martyrdom of General Soleimani, even to trade that with lifting a number of anti-Iran sanctions.
Iranian Foreign Minister said,” Tehran’s response to all demands that aimed to dissuade the Islamic Republic from its decision to retaliate was rejection” and added,” Iran inflicted the necessary blow to the US by targeting Ain al-Assad base, which was a key US military base in Iraq.”
Amir-Abdollahian stated that the US is incapable of promoting its hegemony which counts as an instance of changing world order and an opportunity for the world of Islam.
He said,” The world is passing through a key era in its history and that multiplies the responsibility of scholars and thinkers across the globe.”

He said that Iran is pursuing ways to develop the latter into a global campaign.
