Iranian FM calls for resolution in confrontation with Islamophobia

In a meeting with Koutoub Moustapha Sano, the secretary general of International Islamic Fiq’h Academy in Saudi Arabia, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, announced Iran’s preparation to cooperate with the Saudi religious center and stressed importance of measures against recurring acts of Islamophobia, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Top Iranian official highlighted the efficient role of International Fiq’h Academy in the new ambiance of the region and called for boosting interaction among Muslim world scholars in line with Islamic unity and confrontation with challenges ahead of the Islamic ummah.

reiterated necessity of cooperation among Muslim scholars across the globe for resolute and tactful confrontation with desecration of Islamic sanctities.

Moustapha Sano also hailed the important role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the world of Islam and the endeavors in line with solidarity among Muslims across the globe.

Sano also lauded the efforts by late Ayatollah Taskhiri, former secretary general of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.

The two sides discussed ways for expansion of cooperation wit Saudi Arabia’s International Fiq’h Academy.

The meeting of Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and the secreteray general of International Fiq’h Academy was held on the sideline of the 37^th International Islamic Unity Conference held in the Iranian capital Tehran on September 28 to October 2, 2023.
