“Awakening of consciences should be protected, transcended”
Iranian President, Ebrahim Raeisi highlighted the heavy responsibility of the Islamic nation for protecting and transcending the awakening of the world people on the issue of Palestine.

Speaking at the international conference on “Al-Aqsa Storm and Awakening of Human Conscience”, President Raeisi quoted the late founder of Islamic Redvolution, Imam Khomeini calling issue of Palestine as number one issue in the world of Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said,” The issue of Palestine has turned from number one issue of Muslims world to the top issue across the globe” and added,” All free consciences across the world understand the oppression and resolution of Palestinians.”
President Raeisi said,” In an evil thought, the UK and world powers decided for occupation of Palestinian lands 75 years ago and in this occupation they committed crimes against both Palestinians and the regional people.”
He said the issue of Palestine can be followed in two ways: resistance or reconciliation and admitting the oppression and said,” The thinking of reconciliation did not work as pursued by some political movements” and added,” Palestinian people opted for uprising against oppression.”
He rejected negotiation as a solution to the issue of Palestine and said,” The talks in Sharm al Sheikh, Oslo and Camp David all failed because the negotiating sides were not committed to their vows as is the feature of the oppressors and domineering powers is that they are not committed to their vows” condemning the regime for breaching more than 400 statements in the international arena.”
President Raeisi highlighted resistance as the sole way to stand against oppression since Israeli regime does not accept the logic of negotiation.
He stressed that the operation al-Aqsa Storm on October 7th was the middle of the path in Palestinian confrontation and that the resistance against the regime dates back to 75 years ago.
He stressed,” We constantly support Palestine as the resistance is on our agenda” and added,” Occupation should end, Occupation should be punished and pay the toll for their occupation.”
President Raeisi condemned the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian lands and said,” Continuation of occupation brings no legality or ownership to the occupiers” adding,” All legal systems believe that the occupiers should be expelled.”
Iranian President reiterated the proposal by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei that every Palestinian, with one vote, decide for future of the country.
He called the US is the axis of world evilness and said,” The most important issue is the military, financial and political support by the US and domineering powers.”
President Raeisi added the movement of martyrs unmasked the hypocritical claimants of human rights who are themselves the biggest violators of human rights adding that the awakened consciences know that fact now.
He said that Israeli killing of thousands of children awakened human consciences and the entire world is concerned for the Palestinians.
The president criticized normalization of relations with the Israeli regime warning that it will not bring security for region.
The Iranian president lauded the axis of resistance in Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq and Syria for their heroic action against Israeli regime and said they should be deeply appreciated.
He said,” Pro-Israeli countries should know that defending human rights has turned into the means to press the independent countries.
If Islamic countries were united based on their commonalities we should not have seen much oppression by Israeli regime.
The president hailed South Africa for taking the case of Israeli regime to the International Court of Justice and called for appropriate reaction against the crimes committed by the regime in Gaza.
He condemned the international organizations for failing to oppose Israeli crimes and said,” International organizations have lost their efficiency in front of the United States.
President Raeisi vowed that the victory will belong to the Palestinians and that Israeli regime is doomed to be annihilated.
Iranian president also hailed the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought for its efforts and counted the mission of the major Islamic unity center as, transcending the mutual respect between denominations, boosting Islamic brotherhood among intellectuals and formation of a unified Islamic nation.
