37 Palestinian mothers daily killed in Gaza

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said, since October 7, nearly 37 Palestinian mothers have been killed due to Israeli atrocities against Gaza Strip on a daily basis.

In a press statement on Thursday, the Red Crescent wrote on X, While the countries of the Arab world are celebrating Mother’s Day, there are 37 mothers being martyred every day, in the ongoing Israeli aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip, for the 168th day that led to the martyrdom of 32 thousand people, most of whom were women and children.

However, the international committees concerned with women’s rights have been ignoring the suffering of Palestinian mothers who are subject to killing, displacement, and food deprivation as part of Israel’s deliberate targeting of Palestinian women, it added.

The detainees and Ex-Detainees Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society announced that there are 28 mothers among 76 detained women languishing in Israeli occupation prisons, deprived of their families and children.
