Iran’s Islamic unity center felicitates president-elect Pezeshkian on victory

The Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has congratulated Iran’s president-elect, Masoud Pezeshkian, a day after his victory in presidential race.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari hailed the president-elect Pezeshkian over winning the confidence of nation expressing hope for further solidarity of the Iranian nation, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The cleric also expressed hope that Iran’s new government will take giant steps in materializing the unified Islamic ummah and serving the Iranian nation.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari emphasized cooperation of the major Islamic unity center in line with the high objectives of the Islamic republic, particularly through the diplomacy of unity.
 
The message by Dr Hamid Shahriari came on Sunday following the victory of Masoud Pezeshkian in Iran’s presidential run-off elections.
