“Today Gazans hold highest flag of Islam”

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, said currently the people in Gaza are holding the highest flag of Islam lauding the perseverance of the Palestinians in face of Israeli atrocities.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution made the remarks in a meeting with the leaders of the Palestinian resistance movements arriving in the Iranian capital Tehran to attend the inauguration ceremony of President Masoud Pezeshkian, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
In this meeting held with the political chief of Hamas resistance movement, Ismail Haniyeh, and the secretary general of Palestinians Islamic Jihad, Ziad al-Nakhalah, Ayatollah Khamenei said the grounds for promotion of Islam are provided thanks to the resistance of the Palestinians in Gaza.
 
The Leader added that a concern for Muslim thinkers is to introduce a role model for the Islamic nation and noted,” The increasing leanings for Islam reveals the glory of perseverance of the Palestinian people in Gaza.”
 
Ismail Haniyeh for his part felicitated the victory of Iran’s new president and called the recent election in the country as a manifestation of the democracy based on Islamic thinking.
 
The leader of Hamas resistance movement hailed his meeting with the newly-elected president, Masoud Pezeshkian and also the robust stance of the Islamic Republic in support of the Palestine issue and the resistance.
 
The secretary general of Islamic Jihad also congratulated the election of Masoud Pezeshkian as the new president of the Islamic Republic and said,” The joint meeting of the Palestinian resistance leaders stands for the solidarity of the different fronts in Palestine.”
 
Dignitaries from across the globe have arrived in Tehran and meet with the Iranian officials ahead of the official ceremony to inaugurate the country’s new president, Masoud Pezeshkian.
