Israeli brutality, acts of terror will not change strategic balance in favor of regime
Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman, Nasser Kanaani, said the war crimes and coward assassinations by Israeli regime will not change the ‘strategic balance’ in the region in favor of the regime.

Nasser Kanaani made the comments in a post on his X account on Sunday after Israeli deadly bombing of two schools sheltering displaced Palestinians in Gaza City killed at least 30 people injuring dozens more.
“Despite the Zionists’ terrible brutality, war crimes and genocide in Palestine as well as cowardly assassinations in the region, the strategic balance in the Palestinian territories and across the region will never change in favor of the Zionist regime and its delusional supporters,” Kan’ani said.
He added that the anger of free nations in the world will backfire on the “Zionist criminals and their supporters."
Meanwhile, Mahmoud Basal, the spokesman of the Palestinian Civil Defence in Gaza, said in a statement on Sunday that Israel’s attacks targeted the Hassan Salama and Al-Nasr schools west of Gaza City.
“Around 80% of the victims are children,” he added as he described the scenes at the two bombed schools as “tragic.”
The Iranian spokesman’s post also came less than a week after the Israeli regime carried out two acts of assassination-- killing Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political bureau of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas in Tehran on Wednesday, and Fuad Shukr, a senior military commander of Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement, in Beirut on Tuesday.
At least 39,583 Palestinians, mostly children and women, have been killed and 91,398 people wounded in the war that Israel began on October 7, 2023, following a retaliatory operation by the Palestinian territory’s resistance movements.
