Leader hails martyrs, veterans for standing against enemies’ psywar

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, has hailed the martyrs for standing against the psychological war by enemies. The Leader made the comment in a meeting with the families of martyrs and members of the secretariat of congress of martyrs from Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad province in Iran, held in the capital Tehran on Wednesday, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Ayatollah Khamenei referred to the hostile plots aimed to create psychological war and said that the way to foil such plots is to discover one’s capabilities and avoiding any overstatement of the enemies’ capabilities.
 
“Martyrs, in making great sacrifices, stood against this psychological war”, said the Leader and added that such capability should be highlighted and preserved.
 
The Leader warned that a main pillar of psychological war against the Iranian nation is the overstatement of the enemies’ capacities and said,” Since early days of the Islamic Revolution, they (enemies) struggled to persuade our nation that they should remain fearful of the US, UK and Israeli regime.
 
The Leader said,” We should appreciate those youths who stood against the enemies’ psychological war and reflect this truth in the works of art.”
 
Ayatollah Khamenei also praised the executives of the secretariat of congress of martyrs from Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad province and said,” martyrdom and sacrifices made by the youths are the valuable assets for advancement of a country that should be preserved and protected from distortion and neglect.”
