Kanaani added: "We support negotiations to establish a ceasefire in Gaza and we consulted with various countries. But in the negotiations, one side is the Palestinians and the other side is the Zionist regime and it is the Palestinian people who should decide for themselves.
This Israeli regime has shown that it has no desire to stop the war, and the reactions prove it, Kanaani reminded and emphasized that Hamas, as the main negotiator, has announced its view and said that Israel has added new conditions to terms of past negotiations.
Kanani said: "Now it is the US turn and it should show whether the purpose of the negotiations is just a political maneuver or it is looking for a ceasefire."
