Afghan scholar stresses support for Palestine as religious, humane responsibility
An Afghan elite emphasizes support for the Palestinians in the besieged Gaza as a religious and humane responsibility that should be shouldered by all Muslims.

In an address to the first webinar of the 38th Islamic Unity Conference, Ali Ahmad Halimi, called maintaining unity as a divine responsibility for Muslims across the globe, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said,” Solidarity should be boosted by every individual in the Islamic and none Islamic society, whether they are ordinary people or Scholars”, stressing the importance of solidarity as the basis for a better communication among members of the Islamic nation.
He assimilated the Muslim nation to a body whose members would suffer if another part is in pain and said, “Today, it's been a long time since the people of Palestine and Gaza have been under attack, and every Muslim's heart is feeling the same pain.”
Ali Ahmad Halimi urged all people across the world of Islam to converge in order to support Palestine.
The prominent Afghan scholar, Ali Ahmad Halimi, made the remarks in the online section of the 38th Islamic Unity Conference entitled "Islamic cooperation to achieve common values with an emphasis on the Palestinian issue".
The second part of the annual event has been scheduled to be held in the Iranian capital Tehran on September 14-21.
The conference is annually held by Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought concurrent with the Islamic Unity Week that marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
