Cleric condemns Israeli regime huge funding of killing campaign in Gaza

The director of Islamic Studies at the Academy of Sciences has slammed the Israeli regime for the massive military budget for its killing campaign in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Sayyed Mustafa Mohaghegh Damad, in his speech at the fifth webinar of the 38th Islamic Unity Conference said all prophets have in fact brought the message of unity; hence, all divine religions have the same message, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The senior cleric said Islam and the holy Quran respect all religions as it calls Muslims to respect all divine religions.
 
The Iranian cleric called on the followers of all divine religions to join each other in a united front against the atheism.
 
Sayyed Mustafa Mohaghegh Damad demanded why should the followers of another divine religion, Judaism, must be funding massive budgets on weapons for military action against Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip.
 
The senior Iranian cleric made the comments at the webinar of the 38th Islamic Unity Conference on the topic "Islamic cooperation to achieve common values with an emphasis on the Palestinian issue".
 
The second section of the conference will be held by hundreds of religious leaders and political figures in attendance in the Iranian capital Tehran on September 19-21.
