“Palestinian resistance, an uprising against Israeli state terrorism”

A Uruguayan activist says Zionism is showing its most brutal image in Gaza calling on Muslim countries to support Palestinians in nearly one year of Israeli genocide and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in the besieged Gaza.

Hebe Smit made the remarks in an address to the ninth webinar of the 38th Islamic Unity Conference held by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
She said,” The perseverance of the Palestinian people in Gaza has led to a new awakening and an uprising against Israel’s anti-humane behavior and state-terrorism.”
 
She hailed the Palestinian people for giving lessons of resistance, perseverance and brevity against oppressors.
 
The Uruguayan thinker said the images of the torn bodies, split families and heroes saved from under the rubble, we are more motivated to support the oppressed people.
 
Hebe Smit called on the world Muslims to stand against the oppressive regimes in support of the Palestinians and protect the holy al-Aqsa Mosque.
 
The Uruguayan thinker expressed her views in an online meeting of the Muslim intellectuals held as the first part of the Islamic Unity Conference on "Islamic cooperation to achieve common values with an emphasis on the Palestinian issue".
 
More than 200 university professors, thinkers and activists attend the online section of the conference ahead of the second section which will be participated by hundreds of religious leaders and officials from across the world of Islam in the Iranian capital Tehran on September 19-21.
 
Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought organizes the annual meeting concurrent with the Islamic Unity Week which marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
