“Gaza genocide carried out by US green light”, Afghan cleric

An Afghan university professor says the ongoing Israeli genocide in the besieged Gaza Strip is carried out by the green light of the United States.

Abd Al-Baari Rashed, speaking at the ninth webinar of the 38th Islamic Unity Conference said the flagrant crimes by the Israeli regime does not demand any explanation as all evidences to awaken the Muslims and world people are visible in Gaza, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He quoted an Afghan scholar, decades ago, assimilating the Israeli regime to a cancerous tumor which has been nourished by the western countries.
 
The prominent Afghan elite criticized the Muslim rulers who betray the Palestinian cause by turning a blin eye to the Israeli crimes in the besieged Gaza calling on the Muslims worldwide to contribute for an end to the Israeli atrocities against the Palestinian people in the occupied lands.
 
The Afghan thinker, Abd Al Baari Rashed, made the remarks in the online section of the 38th Islamic Unity Conference entitled "Islamic cooperation to achieve common values with an emphasis on the Palestinian issue".
 
The second part of the annual event has been scheduled to be held in the Iranian capital Tehran on September 19-21.
 
The conference is annually held by Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought concurrent with the Islamic Unity Week that marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
