“Two values Hamas leader committed to piety, resistance”
A senior Iranian scholar hailed the pity and resistance in the late Hamas leader, Ismail Haniyeh, stressing that the very values boost solidarity in Muslims.

Ayatollah Ali Akbar Reshad, in his speech at the eleventh webinar of the 38th Islamic Unity Conference said some high values including resistance and devotion are the great values that inspire Muslims to support Palestinians in the besieged Gaza, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He called on the world Muslims to boost their solidarity based on their commonalities including the same praying direction, holy book and the Almighty God.
He referred to the United States and the Israeli regime as the common enemy of all Muslims against whom they should unanimously rise.
“Piety and the resistance were two key values that the late chief of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, was committed to” he said Ali Akbar Rashad hailing the leading Palestinian resistance leader for sacrificing his life in the fight against enemies.
The prominent Iranian cleric, Ayatollah Ali Akbar Rashad, made the remarks in the online section of the 38th Islamic Unity Conference entitled "Islamic cooperation to achieve common values with an emphasis on the Palestinian issue".
The second part of the annual event has been scheduled to be held in the Iranian capital Tehran on September 19-21.
The conference is annually held by Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought concurrent with the Islamic Unity Week that marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
