Iranian cleric stresses need to take practical steps on Gaza situation

Yaqoubi has made the remarks at the eleventh webinar of the 38th International Islamic Unity Conference scheduled to be held on September 14-21.
 
Muslims currently are under oppression in the Axis of Resistance, he said, noting that Islamic countries can confront the oppression if they resort to unity.
 
The promotion of unity is insufficient in theory, he said, noting taking steps in this regard in practice.
 
He called on Islamic clerics to highlight the importance of respecting Islamic values and teachings.
 
The expert called for adopting mutual respect among all Muslims.
 
Yaqoubi termed Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as a role model who invited his followers the engagement in teamwork.
