Australian scholar raps Muslim countries merely monitoring Gaza massacre

The head of the Forum of Australian Muftis condemned those Muslim countries who remain neutral towards the ongoing Israeli genocide in the besiege Gaza Strip calling on Muslims to maintain solidarity against the Israeli regime.

Abdul Qoddoos al-Azhari, in his speech at the opening ceremony of the 38th Islamic Unity Conference underlined importance of al-Quds and holy al-Aqsa Mosque and urged all Muslims across the globe, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He referred to the Israeli onslaughts against the besieged Gaza as a serious challenge for Muslim world and expressed regret that thousands of women, children and the elderly have been martyred in the relentless strikes on the besieged enclave.
 
The Australian scholar added,” The crimes committed in Gaza have been among the unparalleled atrocities in history while many Islamic counties are merely watching the catastrophic condition in Gaza.”
 
Al-Azhari referred to the background of the Jewish extremism against Muslims and their endeavors to divide Muslim communities.
 
“These extremists are still professionally plotting against Muslims in order to divide them”, he said urging world Muslims to maintain their solidarity in face of the enemies.
 
The prominent cleric made the comments in ab address to the Shia and Sunni leaders attending the opening ceremony of the 38th Islamic Unity Conference held in the Iranian capital Tehran.
