Grand mufti, Albert Karganov, the president of the Religious Association of Russian Muslims said Muslims should constantly hold conferences and use dialogue as the way to boost solidarity among themselves, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 38th Islamic Unity entitled “Islamic Cooperation to Achieve Common Values with Emphasis on Palestine Issue”, the top Russian scholar underlined Islamic unity as the way for Muslims to handle the hardships.
 
He called on the Islamic communities to shoulder their responsibilities and hold talks to end the ongoing war in the besieged Gaza Strip.
 
The Russian Grand Mufti underscored the effective role of Iran-Saudi rapprochement on the region.  
 
Albert Karganov expressed his views on an address to the opening ceremony of the 38th Islamic Unity Conference held on Thursday.
