Zakani said in a meeting with the foreign participants of the 38th International Islamic Unity Conference on the sidelines of the event in Tehran.

The attendees who were touring Milad tower held a meeting with Tehran mayor.

Gaza is the source of pride for all Muslims, he said, calling Gazan nation a role model.

The nation of the enclave can be emulated by freedom-seekers in the world.

The new edition of the conference entitled “Islamic Cooperation to Achieve Common Values with an Emphasis on Palestine Issue” opened at the Islamic Conference Hall on Thursday September 19.
 
More than 150 elites, prayer leaders, intellectuals and activists from across the world attend the conference underway on September 19-21 with the main focus of the event on the issue of Palestine.
 
The major Islamic event is annually held by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in part of efforts for the Muslim intellectuals to convene and discuss the developments across the world of Islam.
