The group pledged to continue targeting “the enemy’s strongholds”. At dawn on Saturday, the Israeli Home Front announced the activation of sirens in Nahariya and Acre, northwest of Israel, for fear of a drone infiltration.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq said in a separate statement it had carried out a drone attack against a military target in the city Acre.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army said it had intercepted two drones that crossed from Lebanon towards the Western Galilee and the Upper Galilee.
Earlier on Saturday, Lebanon’s Hezbollah movement ordered residents of more than 20 Israeli settlements to immediately evacuate them saying that they had become legitimate targets after Israeli forces used them as launchpads for attacks on Lebanon.
On the ground, Hezbollah announced on Saturday that it had targeted with missiles four bases, two barracks, two military sites and six settlements in the north and centre of Israel.
The group has also targeted four gatherings of Israeli soldiers in northern Israel and southern Lebanon, bringing the total number of attacks and confrontations on that day to 18.
The group said it has also targeted an air base south of Tel Aviv and three other bases in northern Israel in addition to other sites.
