“The current system has strengthened collaboration between universities and knowledge-based companies, accelerating applied research, which will continue to progress,” Eslami stated.
He highlighted the importance of nuclear agriculture in ensuring food security and health, particularly through its applications in increasing yield, resistance, and efficiency in agricultural processes. “As demonstrated at this exhibition, shifting agricultural economics towards knowledge-based solutions can expand Iran's share in export markets,” he added.
Eslami also pointed out advancements in medical applications of nuclear energy, noting that the AEOI provides 69 radiopharmaceuticals to medical centers, with an additional 20 currently in clinical trials, significantly impacting the country's healthcare system. Features of the Indigenous RF Generator
The newly unveiled high-power RF generator, based on S-Band magnetron technology, is designed for use in various sectors, including:
-Linear accelerators for customs cargo inspection systems,
-Medical linear accelerators,
-Industrial imaging, and
-Laboratory-scale irradiation systems.
Developed entirely with indigenous technology, this system eliminates dependence on foreign expertise and resources, ensuring domestic installation and operation.
This milestone underscores Iran’s commitment to self-reliance in nuclear technology and its broader application across agriculture, healthcare, and industrial sectors.
