In Ottawa, the protesters braved cold weather to voice solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza condemning as “war crime” the starvation of the people in Gaza.

They also lashed out at the Canadian government for its support for Israel demanding an end to the arms sales to the regime.

In the wake of the Israeli troops attack and burning of the Kamal al-Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, the Canadian protesters urged for freedom of Dr Husam Abu Sufia, the director of the medical facility who, together with other health workers, has been detained by Israeli forces.

Also in Canada, hundreds of protesters hit the streets in Montreal to denounce the Israeli genocidal war against Gaza and occupation of the Palestinian territories.

All the way to Asia, in Japan, a similar rally was held in Tokyo where hundreds of pro-Palestine activists held a rally to denounce the Israeli atrocities against the civilians in Gaza Strip.
The participants formed the inverted red triangle with their fingers to show solidarity with the Palestinian resistance.

Similar rallies were held in the Jordanian capital Amman as the protesters condemned the Israeli torching of the Kamal al-Adwan Hospital as a clear breach of humanitarian laws.

The doctors across the globe have also launched a campaign to demand the immediate release of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, Director of Gaza's Kamal Adwan Hospital, and all others who were abducted by the Israeli forces.
