This statement was made during a cordial meeting with Ali-Akbar Ahmadian, the Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council and representative of the Leader of Iran's Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, who was attending the BRICS high-level security officials' summit in St. Petersburg.

Ali Akbar Ahmadian was appointed as the new secretary of the Supreme National Security Council on Monday by the order of Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, replacing Ali Shamkhani.
