Malaysia demands immediate arrest, execution of Israeli authorities

The Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organizations (MAPIM) has called on the International Criminal Court (ICC) to immediately seek the execution of arrest warrants for Israeli authorities over war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Mohd Azmi Abdul Hamid, the President of MAPIM made the remarks in a recent statement as he denounced the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Benny Gantz for their genocidal military campaigns against Palestinian people and committing grave violations of international law, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

According to the MAPIM President the Israeli officials must be tried for the grave crimes they committed against Palestinians especially during more than 15 months of genocidal war in Gaza including mass killings of civilians, weaponizing starvation, ethnic cleansing and forced displacement of Palestinians and also targeting of medical and humanitarian workers.

He said,” These war crimes violate the Geneva Conventions, UN resolutions, and international law” condemning the Israeli regime for continuing crimes with impunity due to support of the western allies, namely the US.


Mohd Azmi Abdul Hamid also lashed out the global community for its double standards as it remains silent when it comes to issuing arrest warrant for the Israeli leaders committing genocide in Gaza.


MAPIM urged for immediate arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gantz under charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

It also called for swift prosecution at the Hague and announcing economic and political sanctions on Israel until it fully complies with international law.
