Leader names Persian New Year as “Investment for Production”

The Leader made the remarks in a message delivered on Thursday early after the beginning of the Persian New Year, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Ayatollah Khamenei expressed hope that the coincidence of the Persian New Year with Qadr Nights and martyrdom of Imam Ali (AS) will bring more blessings for the Iranian nation and all countries that mark Nowruz.

The Leader called the previous year as a year full of incidents and hardship for the people referring to the martyrdom of Iranian military advisors in Damascus, martyrdom of former president Ayatollah Raeisi followed by bitter incidents in Tehran and Lebanon that led to loss of some outstanding figures in both countries.

Ayatollah Khamenei also hailed the Iranian nation for the presidential election which was quickly held to prevent a power vacuum in Iran and also their contributions for the war-stricken people in Palestine and Lebanon.

Still in another part of his remarks, the Leader said the motto for the New Year will still focus on the economic issues namely investment since a surge in production, as was the name for previous year in Iran, firstly necessitates investment.

Ayatollah Khamenei designated the Persian New Year as the year for investment for production and expressed hope that the planning by the government and cooperation of the people will lead to improvement of the economic condition for all Iranians.

In conclusion the Leader condemned the renewal of Israeli atrocities against Gaza Strip as a catastrophe and a crime stressing,” This is an issue for the entire Islamic nation; therefore, Muslims must settle their disagreements and unanimously stand against these crimes.”

The Leader also called on the people across the globe, including those in Europe and the US to stand against the catastrophe and prevent massacre of children, destruction of homes and displacement of the people.

Ayatollah Khamenei called the US an accomplice in the catastrophe in Gaza as the political experts believe that the crime is committed either with the consent or with approval of the United States.

The Leader also condemned the attacks that targeted the Yemeni civilians as another crime by the US that must be prevented.
