Israel intensifies raids across occupied West Bank, tighten siege on Nablus
Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched overnight and at dawn Sunday a campaign of raids and arrests across the West Bank.

In Qalqilya, the IOF arrested five citizens from the city after storming their homes, searching them and tampering with their contents, according to local sources.

Israeli troops stormed the city at dawn Sunday from its eastern entrance, and deployed in several neighborhoods, including Kafr Saba and Al-Qaraan.

Meanwhile, clashes erupted between youths and the occupation forces in Beit Fajar town, south of Bethlehem.

In Nablus, the IOF stormed the town of Tel, southwest of the city as well as Deir al-Hatab and Salem towns, to the east, amid tight military measures.

Sources reported that Israeli forces have intensified their procedures at the checkpoint, conducting thorough searches and identity checks on citizens. This led to severe traffic congestion, forcing hundreds of civilians, including children and the elderly observing the holy month of Ramadan, to break their fast at the checkpoint.

In Al-Khalil, the IOF stormed the town of Beit Ummar, north of the city, which is located in the southern West Bank, and arrested a young man during raids.

In Jenin, the occupation forces stormed the vicinity of Qabatiya town, south of the city, with no arrests reported.
