Cleric hails Quds Day as day to voice loyalty to Palestinians
The Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has called the International Quds Day as a day to voice loyalty to the Palestinian nation.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari made the comment in a message on his social media X, previously known as Twitter, ahead of the International Quds Day, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The cleric wrote,” On the International Quds Day, once again the Islamic nation and world freedom-seekers gather to declare their loyalty to the objective of holy Quds and oppressed Palestinian nation.”
He added,” This year the motto of the International Quds Day “We are Committed to Our Pledge with Quds” displays our unbreakable loyalty to this holy city and its liberation.”
People across the globe are set to mark the International Quds Day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday March 28-30 as was initiated by the late leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khomeini (RA).
