Irans FM: Resistance forces act independently in region

"The resistance forces in the region, including Yemen, act independently and within the framework of their interests and the Islamic Republic of Iran does not give them orders," the FM noted.

He said: "If the resistance in Syria and Iraq had not been formed in the face of ISIS and terrorism, today Syria and Iraq would have had a different shape, and if security arrangements had not been based on resistance, today the Zionist regime would not have been limited to its walls and the region would have been in a different situation."

In this context, Amir- Abdollahian described the role of strategic leadership of

the Leader of the Islamic Revolution as very special and said: "This wise and prudent role is acknowledged and recognized by various governmental and non-governmental experts in the region and the world."

Amir-Abdollahian continued by focusing on the role of the resistance axis in the West Asian region, and pointed out that the importance of recognizing the environment of the resistance front.
"In the complex world in which the resistance plays a role today, the world witnessed that only a liberation resistance group, Hamas, collapsed the political and security structure and psychological state of the occupying regime in the operation of the 7th of October."

Referring to the nature of Al-Aqsa Flood operation as an anti-occupation operation of a liberation movement against an illegitimate occupying regime, he added: "The US, the Zionist regime and some western countries tried to introduce the October 7 operation as a terrorist act, which has been faded thanks to the constructive diplomacy of the resistance."
