Iran and Russia are likely to sign an agreement to construct Rasht-Astara section of the railway connecting the two neighboring countries, Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said.

Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development Rostam Ghasemi, who headed a delegation to Moscow, concluded a comprehensive agreement on rail cooperation between Iran and Russia at the end of his talks with the Russian Minister of Transport.
