Top court confirms Maduro's victory, securing his third term with 51.20% of the vote, despite opposition rejection

The interim Friday prayer leader of Tehran has enumerated elections as a way for practicing democracy and republic in the country.

The Supreme Leader mentioned hearing about the heightened passion and interest among the public, stating that it is a positive development. 

Amir-Hossein Qazizadeh Hashemi, one of the six candidates in Iran’s Presidential elections has withdrawn from the race.

In a tweet on Monday, Sheikh Naeem Qassim said: "As the Hezbollah movement our position is that the cabinet should be formed before the presidential elections, even if there are a few days left."
