Iranian pilgrims set off for Arba’een procession from Khouzestan (photo)

One of the biggest marching groups of Arba’een ceremonies, has set off for the holy city of Karbala from Ramshir in Iran’s southern province of Khouzestan. Members of the group, from across Iran, begin the annual march nearly one month ahead of the Arba’een procession that marks the 40th day after martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions in the Battle of Karbala.
