Afghan university professor hails late founder of the Islamic Revolution for preventing sedition among Islamic Schools of Thought, saying that Imam Khomeini urged unity and solidarity in Muslim nation.
Mowlavi Noorollah Kowsar, ex-professor of Talim and Tarbiyat University of Kabul in an interview with Afghan Voice said," Imam Khomeini not only prevented sedition and bigotry among Muslims but also urged solidarity and unity in Muslim community," reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said since the beginning of the revolution, Western governments had not taken a logical stance and they would never hold one.
Announcing his support for any religious revolution, he said," Wherever in the world there is the call of a religion or if a revolution breaks out for a religion, we support the cause."
"Islamic Revolution of Iran is not only effective in Afghanistan, but also it is admired in all Islamic societies," said the Afghan orator about the Islamic Revolution of Iran and added, "After the satanic regime of Pahlavi [former Iranian ruling system], loud call of religion was shouted to revive the religious and Islamic values and today we see that the move has proved to be quite effective in Islamic countries."
He referred to the relative concurrence of the Islamic Revolution of Iran and Islamic jihad of the Afghan nation and said," The difference between the two moves is that jihad by the Afghan people was not effective due to the interfering of the foreign forces while Islamic Revolution in Iran has had many achievements and the country has an Islamic system."
He reiterated that," Late Imam Khomeini (RA) prevented any kind of sedition between the Muslims and was after creating fraternity among neighboring Muslim countries by inviting them to maintain unity," and continued, "In the same line, we also urge unity and solidarity among Muslim countries."
He stressed the Muslim elites and especially Afghan youths to keep Islamic Revolution of Iran as a sample.
