Text of condolence message by Huj. Shahriari on passing of Ayatollah Taskhiri

Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought Following the
Demise of Ayatollah Takhiri (May God have mercy upon him)
Hujjat-ul Islam wal-Muslimin Dr. Hamid Shahriari, Secretary General of The World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought issued a message of condolence following the demise of Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, the Chairman of the Supreme Council of The World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.

According to the public relations of The World Forum for Proximity of
Islamic Schools of Thought, the text of the message is as follows:

"We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return"

The unfortunate and tragic demise of the divine scholar, the great
preacher of the unity of the Islamic Ummah, an educated thinker, a
diligent researcher in the field of knowledge and research, a friend and helper of the late Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Supreme Leader
Ayatollah Khamenei, the brave devotee Ayatollah Mohammad Ali
Taskhiri, caused great grief and sorrow for me and all those devoted to that prominent figure and the great guardian of thought, morality and solidarity of the Islamic world.

Late Ayatollah Taskhiri came from a noble spiritual family and had high status in Islamic science, jurisprudence and ijtihad, who left lasting services in the field of education and training of students, writing and research. He was a prominent figure who, from a young age, was one of the pioneers associated with scientific, intellectual and cultural circles of the Islamic world and unifying activities, and established extensiverelationships with great Islamic thinkers and personalities in more than half a century of effort, the result of which is an effective presence and lasting services in international and domestic forums, and hundreds of valuable works in the form of authorship, research, scientific lectures and articles.

I offer my condolences for the absence of this pioneer of the proximity of Islamic schools of thought and the herald of the convergence of Muslims and the moral and pious reformer to Imam Al-Mahdi (AJ), the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, religious authorities and scholars of seminaries, thinkers and intellectuals, and especially family of Ayatollah Taskhiri (May God have mercy upon him) and other devotees and students of the deceased. I ask Allah the Almighty, patience and reward for the survivors from his family, and mercy, forgiveness, exaltation and reunion with the saints and Imams (peace be upon them all) for that great thinker and servant of Allah.
