Al-Aqsa Mosque director calls for strong reaction against Israeli violations
Head of the Higher Islamic Council on Occupied Jerusalem has criticized Muslim and Arab states over inaction regards Israeli violations at the al-Aqsa Mosque as “reprehensible”.

Sheikh Ekrima Sabri noted that any denunciation in this regard is useless and urged all people to protect the holy site.
In press remarks on Sunday, Sheikh Sabri called for putting real pressure on the Israeli occupation government to curb its growing violations at the Mosque.
The Jerusalemite official warned that the Israeli occupation state “tries to perpetuate its presence at the Aqsa Mosque whether there is an occasion or not, and goes overboard in its violations as long as the Arab and Islamic reaction is not strong.”
He held the Israeli government fully responsible for the repercussions of its practices at the Aqsa Mosque.
Recently, Jewish temple mount groups announced their intents to stage mass settler break-ins at the Aqsa Mosque on January 23 to mark the beginning of the Hebrew month.
