“Halal”, shared value for expansion of ties in Muslim world
Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought highlighted the concept of “Halal” as a shared topic for cooperation in the world of Islam.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, speaking with the Russian representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Abdul Ramezan Latif said the top of Halal is not limited to the food but includes other areas, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Top Iranian cleric made the comments on the sideline of the XIV International Economic Forum Russia named “Russia: Islamic World: Kazan Forum”.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari referred to the Muslim world developments in different social, political, economic and communication arenas and stressed preparation of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought for expansion of relations with Russia on the issues related to Muslims.
The Russian representative to the OIC hailed the Islamic Republic of Iran as a strategic and respectable partner for Russia.
He also lauded the key role of Iran in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
Latif added,” Muslims should leave the previous issues behind and negotiate the strategic topics like common objectives to build future.
He concluded that continuation of such meetings can both bring the views closer and also contribute to practicing them.
The XIV International Economic Forum Russia stands for a main platform for economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the countries of the Islamic world.
