Iran, Qatar stress developing cooperation in labor sector

In a meeting, the Ministers of Labor of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Qatar underscored the expansion of cooperation in the fields of labor, employers, and the exchange of skills training.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Iran, especially in the areas of the labor sector.
 
In this meeting, Iran’s Minister of Cooperatives, Labor, and Social Welfare said: "Improving relations with Qatar is strategic for the Islamic Republic of Iran."
 
He stated: "The two countries have taken valuable measures in exchange of experiences and cooperation in international forums, which can be developed at the regional level too."
 
"Ali bin Samikh Al-Marri", Minister of Labor of Qatar, also emphasized the importance of expanding relations with Iran and said: "We will not forget Iran's support during the embargo on Qatar."
 
He added: "During the trip to Tehran, we will provide an opportunity to improve the level of cooperation not only in the field of labor and employment but also in other areas."
