The Leader, in an address to the participants to the 37th Islamic Unity Conference, warned the countries that approved normalization of ties with Israeli regime and called that a total failure for these countries they would lose their bet on the losing horse, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Ayatollah Khamenei said hostilities with Islam are more conspicuous than any other time naming desecration of holy Qur’an an instance of such hostilities.
The Leader condemned the governments supporting the move made by an ignorant to desecrate the holy Qur’an and said,” Those plotting these heinous crimes imagine their blasphemous act can weaken the position of Qur’an though in fact they ruin themselves.”
Ayatollah Khamenei called the holy book of Islam a book of wisdom, knowledge and awakening and said,” Hostility with holy Qur’an is animosity with these high values. Although to the corrupt powers this book counts for a threat since it condemns both oppressors and the people who admit oppression.”
The Leader rejected justification of sacrilege against Qur’an with fake reasons as freedom of speech a shame for the claimants and said,” Would the countries that approve desecration of Qur’an under the pretext of freedom of speech also admit sacrilege of Zionist emblems? With what words could one prove that these countries are dominated by oppressive Zionists?”
Ayatollah Khamenei referred to the Islamic Week and called on the leaders, officials and elites in the Islamic countries to contemplate one question: Who is the enemy of unity among Islamic countries and to whom the Islamic unity would inflict the most damage? Or who would be barred from looting and interference by a united ummah?
The Leader reiterated that the unity of Islamic countries in the west Asia and north Africa hindered the oppression and interference of Americans and said,” The US inflicts political and economic blows to the region, loots Syrian oil, nurtures brutal Daesh terrorists in its camps in order to array them when needed, interferes in domestic issues of countries but once we are all united and follow the same path in our general diplomacy, then the oppressive powers cannot and dare not to meddle in our domestic issues.”
Ayatollah Khamenei reiterated,” We have constantly announced we do not encourage anybody to war or military action and we avoid that too; therefore, our call to unity is a means to prevent warmongering policies by the United States. That is because they are warmongers and all wars in our region have outside players behind them.”
The Leader highlighted as “vital” the contemplation of all Muslim rulers on Islamic unity.
Ayatollah Khamenei touched upon recurring crimes by Israeli regime as another issue in the region and said,” Today the Israeli regime is full of hostility not only towards the Islamic Republic of Iran but also towards all its neighboring countries like Egypt, Syria and Iraq.”
In another part of his speech, Ayatollah Khamenei stated Israeli regime is abounding with hostilities stressing that the hostility is towards several countries since its ambition has been to achieve the motto of “from Nile to Euphrates” and these countries, for some reasons, have barred its way to materialize that illusion.
Ayatollah Khamenei reiterated that the Israeli regime will eventually be eliminated and said,” The clear stance of the Islamic Republic is that those states who set normalization of relations with Israeli regime as their role model will lose as the saying goes they have “bet on the losing horse.”
“The present condition of Israeli regime does not seem appealing for closer relationship” said the Leader and hailed the Palestinian movement in its most vibrant condition
He added,” As the late Imam Khomeini (RA) assimilated the Israeli regime to a cancerous tumor, the Palestinian nation together with the resistance movement will uproot this tumor with their own hands.”
The Leader called the prophet of Islam, a healing for all pains humanity suffers and said words would come short of defining the high character of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
At the beginning of this meeting, Iran’s President Sayyed Ebrahim Raeisi, referred to the struggles by Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) for building a society based on “monotheism” and “justice” and said,” Solidarity of the Muslim world based on unity, resistance and rejection of Takfir (excommunication) promises establishment of a new Islamic civilization.
The meeting of the participants to the 37th Islamic Unity Conference was held on the last day of the annual event concurrent with the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
More than 230 Shia and Sunni scholars attended the 37th International Islamic Unity Conference in person. 260 intellectuals, religious figures and scholars also attended the online section of the meeting.
