Mosque to be constructed for Sunni Muslims in Tehran: Dr Shahriari
A mosque will be built for Sunni Muslims in southern Tehran, the Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought says.

The preliminary permission has been received for construction of a mosque in southern Tehran, said Shahriari in a meeting with the foreign participants of the 38th International Islamic Unity Conference on the sidelines of the event in Tehran.
The attendees who were touring Milad tower held a meeting with Tehran mayor, Alireza Zakani.
The new edition of the conference entitled “Islamic Cooperation to Achieve Common Values with an Emphasis on Palestine Issue” opened at the Islamic Conference Hall on Thursday September 19.
More than 150 elites, prayer leaders, intellectuals and activists from across the world attend the conference underway on September 19-21 with the main focus of the event on the issue of Palestine.
The major Islamic event is annually held by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in part of efforts for the Muslim intellectuals to convene and discuss the developments across the world of Islam.
