Hamid Abd Jawad Mohammed al-Najdi, speaking at the opening ceremony of the international conference on ‘Human Dignity and Family Challenges in Modern World’ denounced the Israeli regime for undermining the human dignity and human rights in the besieged Gaza Strip and Lebanon, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He hailed the first conference of the human dignity organized by Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought saying that such conferences are an answer to the Israeli regime.

The Iraqi academic also condemned Israel for assassination of the Hezbollah leader, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah saying,” Nasrallah’s martyrdom tore our heart into pieces.”

The president of Ahlul Bayt University also said that the role of Muslim women should be highlighted in the next meetings of the conference.

Two other editions of the international conference on ‘Human Dignity and Family Challenges in Modern World’ will be held in the Iraqi capital Baghdad and the Turkish city of Istanbul.

The conference means to converge the Muslim academics from across the globe and activate their capabilities in line with promoting the objectives of Islam and settling the current issues of Muslims.
