President Pezeshkian vows efforts towards peace, fraternity among New Year priorities
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has congratulated the nation on the advent of the Persian New Year vowing further efforts by the government towards a world of peace, fraternity and humanity.
Pezeshkian made the remarks in his New Year message delivered after the beginning of the Persian New year on Thursday, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said,” We need a different view, unity as well as healthy relations with the neighboring countries and the entire world in order to achieve the high objectives of our country as elaborated by our dear Leader and also to build a world of peace and fraternity away from massacre and brutal crimes.”
On the domestic issues in Iran, he referred to the investment in private sector and vowed that using the unique capabilities of Iranians will lead the country to the high stances it deserves.
The Iranian President also referred to the hardships and bitter incidents during past year among them the martyrdom of former president Ebrahim Raeisi, martyrdom of some resistance leaders and also thousands of civilians slain in Palestine and Lebanon paying tribute to all of them.
He said,” We perceive our dear Iran to be away from impurities and injustice and are determined to achieve that by cooperation and solidarity among us.”
