HRW pointed out that Tel Aviv has not complied with the court's orders and has failed to deliver aid and basic services to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
The International Court of Justice requested at the end of last January that Israel take all measures to prevent any actions that could be considered genocide, ensure that the Israeli army does not commit any acts of genocide, and prevent any statements or public comments that could incite genocide in Gaza.
It also demanded that Israel take all measures to ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid and not dispose of any evidence that could be used in the case against it.
On December 29th last year, South Africa filed a lawsuit before the International Court of Justice accusing Israel of committing "genocide" in the Gaza Strip.
However, the court announced its rejection of Israel's demands to dismiss the lawsuit and temporarily ruled to compel Israel to take measures to stop the genocide and allow humanitarian aid.
