Iran’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, Zahra Ershadi, has once again voiced Iran’s condemnation of Israeli war on Gaza calling for an immediate end to onslaughts against the Palestinians in the besieged territories.
Zahra Ershadi delivered the address in a statement before the 77th Session of the UN General Assembly on Agenda Item 70, “Report of the International Court of Justice” in New York on October 27.
Zahra Ershadi stressed: "The inhumane and unilateral coercive actions of the United States have had unwanted and disastrous consequences on the rights of Iranian women, and the cruel and inhumane sanctions have violated the basic rights of women."
Iran’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations has called for binding legal obligations and disarmament of nuclear countries rather than unilateral promises which are not fulfilled.
Speaking in a meeting of the UN General Assembly on Monday, Zahra Ershadi said that for Iran the connectivity between Central and South Asia as well as the comprehensive and consistent development of ties in all areas between the two regions' states were of particular importance.
