Inside the UN General Assembly (photo)

76th United Nations General Assembly held the first day of the high-level General Debate on Tuesday September 21, 2021. The General Debate takes place from September 21-27 with limited number of members in each delegate allowed to the meeting due to the pandemic. The UN member states were encouraged to provide pre-recorded statements in lieu of traveling to UN headquarters. More than 100 Heads of State or Government are expected to attend the 7-day event in person.
