“Enemies will not overcome Muslims as they are united”, Iranian cleric
Ayatollah “Mohammad Mohammadi Ghaeini”, professor of Jurisprudence and Principles in Qom Seminary, in his speech at the webinar of 37th International Islamic Unity Conference, noted that the Almighty God considers the Ummah of the Prophet as a single Ummah, reported Taghrib News Agency (TNA).

“All those who claim monotheism and follow the Holy Prophet of Islam are all one reality and form a group and should be united under the name of one Ummah”, he said.

Noting that the Islamic Ummah has accepted the chain of prophets, he added: “the Ummah believes that the Prophet's family is his heir and respected. We all pray to the same Qibla, we all pray to the same Qur'an, which we believe is not distorted.”

“The differences that are caused by the understanding in the perception or the application in the examples will not hinder the unity of the Islamic Ummah in any way”, the Iranian cleric continued.

He mentioned that if anyone thinks that Shia and Sunni are two groups, they should know that they are in error and clarified: “we are all a nation of one prophet, we have one goal, we have one plan.”

“The enemies know that as long as the Muslims are all together, they can overcome them not with military power. Neither political threats are effective, nor economic sanctions can destroy them”, Mohammadi noted.

“Enemy, particularly England, that is the ring leader of dominating Islamic countries and halving Islamic nation, have come to the conclusion that the only possible way to attack the Islamic society is these differences and religious tastes”, he emphasized.

“Therefore, the foreign enemies of colonialism, mainly England and recently America under the guidance of international Zionism, want the Islamic nation to die”, he added.

Mohammadi noted that since the devil could not deviate us from the principle of Islam, it wants to achieve his genuine goal by weakening our faith and beliefs through differences and confrontations and going to war.

“The sublime laws of religion and the idea of human equality, and justice among human beings and the rights that exist between them, should prevail in the society and in today's world”, the professor of seminary concluded.
